| Other additions to the menu:
Tossed Greek Salad - combine romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes (halved),
black olives and chunks of feta cheese. Dress with a bottled Greek dressing.
A selection of beers.
Iced tea and lemonade. To make iced tea, pour 1 quart of boiling water
over two tea bags and steep for five minutes. Remove tea bags. Add 1 1/2
cups sugar and 1/4 cup lemon juice. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate.
To make lemonade, combine the juice of four fresh lemons with 1 quart
water. Add 2 cups sugar. Stir to dissolve and refrigerate.
If you're really serving to a lot of people, add:
Corn on the cob. Husk the corn, wash it and add to a large pot of boiling
water. Cook three minutes, drain and serve with butter.
A plate of raw veggies with a ranch dressing for dip.
Throw some hot dogs on the BBQ for the kids.
Sliced watermellon and other fruit make easy desserts.
Potato salad: combine boiled potatoes, chunked, with sliced boiled egg,
chopped green onion, mayonnaise and a little prepared mustard. Add sliced
radish if you like, or sliced cooked beets for something a little different.
