Oven French Toast with Blueberries 
Ingredients:
  • loaf of french bread
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • dash nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • a little more sugar (a Tbsp or two)
Method:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cut the french bread into thick slices. Place the bread into a 9" x 13" inch pyrex pan.
  • Combine eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla.
  • Beat well.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread.
  • Put the blueberries over the bread.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg and a little more sugar.
  • Bake approximately 1 hour or until golden brown.
  • Serve with maple or blueberry syrup.
