| New Year's Party: Party Favors |
| You've already created some great party ware that can serve as mementos of the party. Give each guest his or her own etched wine glass, etched candle holder or silver bell. Or, create the party favors below:
Does anyone really know the words to Auld Lang Syne? Well, now they will! Click here for the words to the song. Open your word processing package and open a new file. Copy the words from our webpage and paste them into your word processing file. Format the words and print them out. We suggest using a script type font. Print the words to the song on parchment paper or specialty New Year's print paper from your stationary or craft store. Dot the parchment with gold and silver star-shaped stickers. Or paint on a thin layer of glue (in the corners) and sprinkle with gold sprinkles. Dry before rolling up. Roll each printout into a scroll and tie with silver and gold ribbon. Spray paint a large basket with gold paint. Dry. Pile the scrolls into the basket and distribute them to guests just before midnight.
Create Y2K Survival Kits as party favors. Each kit should contain one candle and one book of matches (or, one small flashlight), one can opener and one can of soup, one small bottle of water. Package the kits up in a paper bag stamped with gold stars.
