Ingredients:
- Thinly slices, toasted white bread
- 1/8 pound brie
- 1/4 stick sweet butter
- 6 almonds
- 1/2 tsp. peanut oil
- 1/8 tsp. curry powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Method:
1. Let butter and cheese come to room temperature. Mix together.
2. Heat almonds in peanut oil over low heat until lightly toasted. Drain
on paper towel. Sprinkle with curry powder, salt and pepper, chop in a
nut grinder or a food processor.
3. Add two thirds of the nut mixture to the cheese mixture.
4. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut heart out of toasted white
bread. Spread with cheese mixture and sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
