Foil Garland
Materials:
  • fusible web
  • foil wrapping paper
  • string, thread, or ribbon cut to the length you want for the finished garland
  • needle or hole punch
  • pencil
  • scissors
Instructions:
  1. Using an iron and following manufacturer's directions fuse two sheets of foil wrapping paper together (back to back so that both sides of the garland will show colour). Let cool.
  2. Use a pencil to trace or draw Christmas shapes on the foil. You can use stars, santas, stockings, snowflakes, etc. - try using cookie cutters as stencils. Cut out the shapes.
  3. Using the needle or hole punch, punch a hole at the top of each shape.
  4. Thread the shapes onto your ribbon, thread or string. Tie a knot at each end of the string.
