• Clear glass plate, bowl, platter, etc.
• Permanent acrylic paints in Christmas colours (I like to use gold paint only)
• Brushes
• Tape
• Patterns - see instructions below

Wash and completely dry the serving piece.

With the serving piece right side up. Tape a pattern to it so that it will show through the bottom of the piece when it's turned upside down.

Patterns: You can use almost anything for a pattern - old Christmas cards, wrapping paper, any of our basic patterns, pictures from magazines, colouring books, etc.

Turn the serving piece upside down.

Paint on the serving piece using the pattern as a guide. Let dry. Remove the pattern and wash the serving piece again.
