| Quick Reusable Gift Bags |
These easy gift bags can be used again and
again.
Materials:
- rectangular piece of christmas print fabric (large enough to hold
item once it's folded in half)
- sewing machine or sewing needle
- pins
- thread
- piece of cord or ribbon
Instructions:
- Fold the fabric in half, right sides together and pin.
- The fold becomes the bottom of the bag. Now, stitch bag together along
both of the sides using a hand needle or a sewing machine.
- Fold the top 1/2" of fabric to the wrong side all along the top of
the bag. Pin in place. Stitch along the edge of the fold leaving a 1/2"
gap.
- Turn the bag right side out.
- Fish the cord into the pocket at the top of the bag. When the cord
is all the way through, tie the two ends of the cord together in a knot
(trim it first if it's too long). When you pull on the cord, the top
of the bag will draw together.
