Shell Angel

Materials:

  • Large shell
  • Wooden ball ( size depending on the size of shell)
  • Hair
  • A string of gold or pearl beads---gold chenille stem will work for the halo
  • Paint or Marker for the eyes
  • Ribbon about a 1 or 1 1/2" wide---gold
  • Glue
  • Glitter
Instructions:
  1. Take large shell and put glue on it. *I use a paint brush with glue on it and paint my shell with the glue.
  2. Sprinkle glitter on shell and let dry. *I use iridescent glitter on my shell.
  3. Glue hair on the top of the wooden ball. Next take a string of gold or pearl beads and tack it to the hair. This is the halo. You can also use gold chenille stem.
  4. For the eyes you can paint or use magic markers to fill them in.
  5. Glue the wooden ball to the top of the shell.
  6. Glue a piece of gold string to the back of the shell. This is used for hanging.
  7. Take your gold ribbon and fold the cut edges into the middle part of the ribbon. It will look like a bow. Glue the middle part then glue the bow to the back of the shell. This is the wings for the angel.

    She is all done.
