• Green or red felt - 7" x 10"
• Yarn, in colour complimentary to felt colour
• Needle with large eye
• Trimming: sequins, rickrack, buttons, ribbon, etc.
• (optional) glue gun and glue sticks

Use the stocking pattern in our Christmas pattern section. Stocking should be approximately 3" wide by 4 1/2" tall. Cut two stocking patterns out of felt

Pin stockings together. Stitch around the edges of the stocking (not the top!) with yarn using large stitches. Make sure to knot the end so the stitches don't come out when you hang the stocking!

Optional: trim the stocking using sequins, rickrack, buttons, ribbon, etc. You can sew the trimming on with the yarn, or use a hot glue gun.

Sew a loop of yarn to the back of the stocking at the top to make a hanging loop.

Stuff the stocking with candy canes, foil wrapped chocolates, or other candy and hang on the tree.
